what is solution focused hypnotherapy ?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a highly effective combination of positive psychotherapy and relaxing hypnosis.
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help make positive changes by accessing your subconscious mind. It involves me, your therapist, working with you to achieve a deeply relaxed, trance-like state where your subconscious mind and conscious mind become more receptive to beneficial suggestions.
It is based on up-to-date neuro-science research on how the brain works and the focus is always upon the positive rather than the negative. The added benefit of trance, which can be likened to ‘day dreaming’, means that the sessions are incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.
